anibee's Ultimate Otaku Outing - Inside Ikebukuro! Part 2

Our trip continues, and we're not done with Ikebukuro yet! This time, Q checks out a hobby store that's caught his eyes!

Q's Pick - Lashinbang

There might be dozens upon dozens of stores selling anime goods all over Japan, but if you're looking for a good deal, you'd best pick one that offers 買取 (Kaitori), or 'buy-backs'.

What this means is that the store allows customers to walk in and sell their pre-owned merchandise to them. They evaluate it, buy it off the customer, and then place it on their store shelves - which means prices that are lower than retail.

BOXES AND BOXES OF MANGA!

When in Ikebukuro, it doesn't get much better than Lashinbang! This place is practically littered with the hottest merchandise. Figma, Nendoroids, PVCs, action figures – and let's not forget that it also carries doujinshi, DVDs and CDs! The interesting part about Lashinbang is that what it carries in store can vary greatly from time-to-time, as and when more people sell their things to them.

DID I MENTION 'LOVE LIVE' IS GETTING REALLY POPULAR? WELL, I WILL AGAIN...

While you're almost always given a good chance to find something new & interesting, this also means another thing - merchandise moves fast here, especially if it's something popular.

GUMMIS... PLLLEAAASEE!!

If you see something in Lashinbang that you fancy and at a price you like, don't hesitate - BUY IT NOW. Trust me, you'll be thankful you did ; ) !

Check out Lashinbang's Official Website!

This isn't the last we'll see of Ikebukuro! But for now stay tuned for the next article where we head off - to the Anime Contents Expo aka, ACE!
