Dinosaurs are awesome. Robots are awesome. Super heroes are awesome.

So it was perhaps no surprise, that when all 3 Elements of Awesomeness (hey, we should trademark that!) were put together to create the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, it made an explosive impression on us, both literally and metaphorically!

If you're a big tokusatsu (special effects) fan, then you might already know that the Power Rangers are basically an imported, chopped up, and adapted version of Japan'Â’s Super Sentai series. In the case of MMPR, it was actually the 16th series in Japan, where it was known as Kyouryuu Sentai Jyuranger. Their mecha, known as the Megazord to most of us, was Daijujin in Japan - and that's what we're looking at today!

The latest entry in Bandai's Super Robot Chogokin line, this series features many of the same elements long time collectors have grown to love: great detailing, high quality workmanship and die-cast, metal content! No longer the old, inarticulate (but awesome in its own, old-school right) blocky toy of yesteryear, the SRC line finally grants the ol' Daijujin with the poseability it so deserves!

Sculpted in the image of his show proportions; this results in a sleeker, more stylish looking 'Zord for your posing pleasure! It doesn't end just there of course - Daijujin also comes packing his trademark sword, shield, mammoth-gun and shoulder cannons for him to wield.

But wait - there's more! Also included are several special-effects parts for you to use. These are handy to recreate all his various lightning based attacks from his horns, as well as igniting his sword with energy!!

With tons of optional parts, poseability and of course, an immense nostalgia value, SRC Daijujin is your ticket to some awesome Robot Goodness!
