Serene reviews - Otaku Camera app updates!
Hello everyone! :)
Remember the review that I previously wrote about the camera application called Otaku Camera? If you have a bad memory like mine, don't worry - here's the link!
For those who know not of this application, the Otaku Camera is an iOS and Android app that allows users to 'mangatise' any picture from their mobile devices. With over 70 different frames to choose from, users are able to create one of a kind, manga-style works of art from a wide range of photographic subjects including people, objects, and scenery.
The interface also allows users to effortlessly shoot and create manga-style pictures using either the front or back camera on their mobile devices. Additionally, users can also mangatise any picture already stored in their mobile device. Photos created with Otaku Camera can be easily enjoyed with friends and family by instantly sharing them on social sites such as Facebook and Twitter, or by saving them to their device.
Now, users will also be able to use Tiger & Bunny frames with Otaku Camera!! Any Tiger & Bunny fans reading this?
That's right! One of the two special collaborations that Otaku Camera has is with Tiger & Bunny! There are now new T&B frames in the application that you can just easily download and use! :D Unfortunately, if you liked the "mangatise" feature, these new T&B frames will disappoint you slightly because they do not mangatise the image in any way. D: But you still get to end up in cool-looking T&B frames, and take pictures with Kotetsu & Barnaby! ;D
How do I look? XD
Though there are limited frames available for T&B, it still is pretty interesting to try each one of them out! This special collaboration will only last for a certain period of time, with the T&B frames being available for download until August 18th this year. Be sure to grab them before time flies!
I DID mention that there are two special collaborations, did I not? :> If you're a Hello Kitty World fan, this next collaboration should be something that you ought to try in the application! We now have Hello Kitty World frames available on Otaku Camera. :D Yay!
Just like the T&B frames, these special frames will NOT mangatise your original image and instead, keeps it as it is. Otaku Camera users can now "take photos" not only with the world famous Hello Kitty, but also with other cute Sanrio characters, including My Melody and Pompompurin.
The Hello Kitty World frames are also limited edition frames - by the end of March this year they'll be gone from Otaku Camera! Quickly download these frames if you're a fan! ><
Look at the adorable frames that they have! OAO <3
Otaku Camera allows me to upload my pictures onto Facebook and Twitter instantly from the application, which is really helpful as compared to saving the images then uploading them myself! XD
Other than the Hello Kitty World and Tiger & Bunny frames, Otaku Camera has released many more of their awesome and funny frames for users. All their frames (save the ones that are included in special collaborations) includes mangatising your original image - which is the fun part, in my opinion.
If you've yet to download this camera application, download it now and give it a try! Have some fun with more than 60 frames available! It's an excellent free app with lots of fun. :3
Tokyo Otaku Mode intends to create a new way for the worldwide community to enjoy Japan's otaku content via a smartphone app, and many more Otaku Camera anime, manga, and popular character frame collaborations are expected in the future. So keep a look out for their future collaborations!
