Upcoming film, "Ore wa Mada Honki Dashitenai Dake" would be using theme song provided by SCANDAL. The title of the theme song is "Awanai Tsumori no, Genki de ne" (I don't plan on seeing you; take care, okay!)

Many would have wondered why SCANDAL was chosen for the theme song. The director explained "Since many of my works are silly, I would want to purify it with cheerful female voices during the ending. As the silliness of this movie is more for adults, I needed even more cheerful voices than usual. I thought 'it should be SCANDAL this time!' They made the theme song after watching the movie, so it became a song that encourages the protagonist 'Shizuo'. It can also push you back up when you feel little down."

On top that, vocalist HARUNA also commented "Though the protagonist is a middle-aged man, the movie can encourage anyone regardless of your age or sex. Therefore, we made the song without sticking too much to the theme of the movie. The new song became such a 'serious' song that shows our spirits."

Scheduled to be screened in theatres on June 15th, the film is based on a manga by Aono Shunju and was highly sought for movie adaptation. The story is about a father named Oguro Shizuo who left his job at the age of 41 to find his true self but ends up spending his time at soccer games. It was until one day, that he randomly decides to be a manga artist.

Directed by Fukuda Yuichi (HK Hentai Kamen) together with Tsutsumi Shinichi (Always Sanchome no Yuhi) who played the male lead. No doubt not all people can relate themselves to the movie plot but I feel that this film will depict a good example of the ups and downs in life and how we overcome them!
