Fame doesn't always come immediately for most people, and it also often comes from the least likely of places. No one knows that better than Maon Kurosaki, who had just recently performed at the Anime Festival Asia Malaysia 2012!

Starting her Anisong career in 2000, Maon Kurosaki's initial performance venue was at the bar, Dear Stage, in Akihabara. Her music career would finally hit a high note in 2010, upon being recognised and picked up by music producer Akihiro Tomita.

Signing up with Geneon Universal Entertainment, September 2012 saw the release of her album 'H.O.T.D.', which had her singing the ending theme songs of the anime 'Highschool Of the Dead'. Since then, she's been featured in numerous variety shows, had a solo concert, and even performed overseas at events like Anime Expo in the US! Of course, she still does ani-songs, such as the theme song to 'To Aru Majutsu no Index'.
Punchy, Pretty and Passionate - it's no wonder she's hit the ani-song scene in a big way! With her newest singles, 'Hell:ium' and 'Reimei' having just been released, we've got a feeling this is far from the last we'll hear from her!
